Yoga for Lower Back Pain - 4 week course
Special Therapeutic Yoga Class
Mondays 27th January - 17th February inclusive
6.15 pm - 7.30 pm
This short course will help you to better understand causes of back pain and what to do if you get a painful episode.
Through the use of yoga asanas (poses) we will work to improve postural alignment, release tension, improve flexibility and strength and build confidence in movement.
By the end of this course you will be able to distinguish between healthy and unhealthy pain as well as learning what helps and what aggravates the problem.
Teaching this course: Helen Clay is a senior level 3 teacher with over 30 years experience. She first qualified in 1991 and has taught in the UK and Hungary and studied in India at Pune. She is also trained and experienced in the Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs programme.
Suitable for: Recommended for anyone with a little or a lot of experience of Iyengar Yoga.
