Volunteers needed for Teacher Assessment: Sunday 21st July

We are holding another Teachers' Assessment at the Centre on Sunday 21st July and we are looking for people to be taught by the candidates. Can you help?

You should be familiar with Level One poses and ideally able to do a Sirsasana (headstand) even if support is needed e.g. a wall and also Sarvangasana (shoulder stand).  Stiff people are welcome to volunteer but if you have any serious injury or medical condition, better not this time. We also prefer that you have attended Iyengar yoga classes within the last 2 years. Trainee teachers are welcome too.

There are 2 teaching slots for which we need volunteers:

  • 9am -10.55am

  • 11am -12.55pm

We will ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes before the teaching begins and there will be a short break within each slot.

We really appreciate those of you who can offer your time to help the next generation of teachers on their way - and do remember, you won't be under the spotlight - it's the candidates who will!

To volunteer, or for further information, please email info@sheffieldyogacentre.co.uk and say which time slot you prefer.

Thank you
